As a sufferer of depression myself, it's pretty easy to see where this game is coming from. The minimalism, lack of real control and constant descent are very thematic and do a good  job of representing the feeling of falling into a depressive episode. However, near the end, many of the words ended up flashing by so quickly and nearly off-screen that I missed ms of them. Great work overall though!

Thank you for making a video about my little game! ^^

It was created in 24 hours on Warsaw Film Game Jam. I'll make sure to consider your feedback before releasing the game further. I was encouraged on gamejam to release it on Steam and Mobile with 10x more content, so maybe I'll do it around new year. Right now I have many more gamejams going on.

As for the depression origins - it was my take on GameJam's theme "Negative". Depression is the most negative thing I could think of, so I went for it. Personally I had only brief episodes with depression. I still don't know how it is to be really deep in this shit. Through Falling Down I try to empathize with those who suffer.
